At Coosa Valley Technologies, serving our communities extends far beyond providing reliable internet service. Through financial support, volunteerism and community partnerships, we are committed to helping the places we call home.
Together with our parent company, Coosa Valley Electric Cooperative, we have contributed more than $200,000 to local schools and nonprofit organizations across our service area since 2021. We have helped strengthen educational and athletic opportunities for local students through investments that have supported schools in Talladega, Sylacauga, Childersburg, Ohatchee, Lincoln, Pell City, Munford, Pleasant Valley, and Winterboro. Community organizations such as the Optimist Club of Talladega, Kiwanis Club of Childersburg, Lincoln Parks and Recreation, and many others have also benefited from our support.
Giving back is woven into our culture. Employees regularly volunteer their time and talents through fundraisers, local events, community improvement projects, technology-focused service opportunities and partnerships with schools and youth programs. Coosa Valley Technologies’ team is dedicated to making a meaningful difference.
Investing in the next generation is especially important to us. Each year, the Coosa Valley Family of Brands awards approximately $32,000 in college scholarships to area students, helping them pursue higher education and build bright future.
